Cadman Capital Group appoints new packaging MD as business grows

Independent private equity investment firm Cadman Capital Group has appointed Dale Houlston as the new managing director of its packaging businesses. 


This follows significant growth for the group within the industry. 

Cadman Capital Group first entered the packaging market in 2020, with the joint purchase of Norpol Packaging and Burbridge Packaging. 

The acquisition of specialist packager, Cheshire Polythene completed in August 2021, increasing the Group’s market share, and expanding its geographical footprint within the industry. 

Houlston joins the business with over 35 years of experience in print and packaging focused roles, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the group’s three packaging businesses. 

James Dinsdale, chief executive of the Cadman Capital Group added: “Dale is a terrific appointment for us as we look to improve and add value to our packaging businesses. Whilst Norpol Packaging, Burbridge Packaging and Cheshire Polythene are well-established within the industry, we have identified the opportunity to implement operational improvements, product development and increased efficiency across the businesses.”
