design concept

The existing chocolate brands on the market, such as Dove, Hershey, Ferrero, etc., have their own brand origin stories, giving the chocolate a special cultural meaning. Inspired by the story of the origin of the brand, the author wants to design the appearance of the chocolate gift box packaging as a book, and hopes to add a cultural atmosphere to the chocolate, and at the same time integrate the brand story into it, so that consumers can further understand the chocolate brand story and brand culture.

Structural design

This chocolate book gift box is packed with white cardboard with a thickness of 0.5mm. The structure design is shown in Figure 1. The left and right sides are symmetrical. After folding, inserting and bonding with two joints, it can be molded. In addition, by pressing down the left and right lines, the package can be flat and easy to transport after molding.

In addition to the "book", a "waist seal" is also designed. When the "waist seal" is removed, the "book" can be opened, the chocolate is placed in two "inside pages", and the tear is placed at the lower end of the "inside page". Split the perforation line and tear it away to remove the chocolate from the bottom end, as shown in Figure 2. When the first piece of chocolate is taken out, the package is placed vertically, and the chocolate at the upper end can slide down along the inner wall, thereby sequentially taking out all the chocolates. The structural design is very clever, and the independent design of the two "inside pages" on the left and right is more in line with consumption. Consumer demand.
